Vascular Surgeon – Division of Vascular Surgery (Humber River Health) Appointment: 0.5 FTE ramping to 1.0 FTE over 24 months Call: 1-in-5 home call (HOCC stipend) Start: As soon as credentialed Compensation: OHIP fee-for-service Location: Toronto, ON Role The Division of Vascular Surgery at Humber River Health is recruiting a fifth Vascular Surgeon to join our collegial group of four. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive open and endovascular care across inpatient and outpatient settings, share 1/5 home call with HOCC stipend, and contribute to service growth as we expand access to high-quality vascular care. What we offer Access to a hybrid OR and modern imaging for endovascular and open procedures. Structured ramp-up: 0.5 FTE at start with a planned progression to 1.0 FTE by 24 months. Initial practice build support: dedicated help populating OR lists and OPD clinics during ramp-up. Optional ambulatory component: access to North Toronto Surgical (NTS)—a fully functional, supported office environment for clinic days and procedures; overhead to be discussed. You bring Royal College certification (FRCSC) in Vascular Surgery. CPSO independent licence (in good standing). Demonstrated proficiency in open and endovascular techniques. Position Profile: The Department of Surgery at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, is seeking an academic Chair/Division Head/Chief for the Division of Vascular Surgery with a vision to shape the Division for a five-year appointment, renewable once. This role is a full-time, limited-term, clinical academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor, or a continuing clinical academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor, depending upon experience and qualifications at the time of appointment.
