    Guelph General Hospital is seeking a skilled RCPSC-certified Vascular Surgeon to join our outstanding and growing team in Guelph, Ontario. As a key member of our medical team, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of four experienced Vascular Surgeons to provide regional care to the city and surrounding communities. 

    Guelph General Hospital Division of Vascular Surgery is a Level 2, regional vascular program. Our catchment population is approximately 1 million people. We cover the entire region of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and surrounding areas. 

    The applying candidate needs to be proficient in: EVAR, open AAA, hybrid vascular procedures, CEA, limb salvage, peripheral bypass surgery, dialysis access, endovascular procedures, & angioplasty.

    This position is a full time position. Expected Start is July 2025.

    McMaster University in conjunction with Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking an academic Vascular Surgeon. The HNHB LHIN (4) Regional Vascular Program serves a catchment area of more than 2.5 million residents and has some of the largest case volumes in Canada providing comprehensive care across multiple sites: Hamilton Health Sciences, St Joseph’s Healthcare, Niagara Health Services, as well as Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington and the Brantford General Hospital. The regional service also provides tertiary and quaternary level care to patients from other regions of the province and plays an essential role in the support of other regional programs including cardiac, trauma, surgical oncology, and renal disease and transplantation. The regional vascular service together with the Department of Surgery, McMaster University is a fully accredited Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada training program in Vascular Surgery with full involvement in undergraduate, post-graduate and continuing medical education programs.

    Saskatchewan Health Authority – Saskatoon and University Saskatchewan, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery seek aVascular and Endovascular Surgeon to join their team. Collective responsibilities include clinical care of inpatients and outpatients as well as education of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. The successful candidate will have appointments in both Saskatchewan Health Authority and the University of Saskatchewan, where teaching of surgical residents and medical students is integral.

    Qualifications/Requirements of the position – The successful candidate will hold certification or be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Surgery of Canada (RCPSC) and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS).

    Position Profile: A Full-time Limited Term Clinical Academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, or a Continuing Clinical Academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor, depending upon experience and qualifications at the time of appointment. The Division of Vascular Surgery is affiliated with London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London and is presently comprised of 6 vascular surgeons with busy clinical practices. The Division has a strong clinical research interest and is an accredited Royal College training program.

    Qualifications: The successful candidate must have an MD or equivalent; have completed an accredited vascular surgery training program; have advanced training in endovascular procedures, clinical experience in outpatient venous procedures, have a strong research interest and/or an advanced degree; and be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario.

    Horizon Health Network is currently seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join the Department Vascular Surgery at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The practice is a comprehensive, full-time community-based practice in Vascular Surgery and provides inpatient and outpatient services for the Fredericton, Upper River Valley, and surrounding areas.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
    • Fellow Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
    • Experience in EVAR and other percutaneous endovascular techniques required.
    • Must have current malpractice insurance from the CMPA, appropriate to the category of practice.

    The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Ottawa is pleased to invite applications for its  Limb Preservation Fellowship starting on July 1st  2025. This specialized 6–12-month program is open to qualified physicians who have completed an accredited vascular surgery residency and are seeking advanced training in open and endovascular procedures, as well as wound care, with a focus on limb preservation. The fellowship offers exposure to one of the highest volumes of distal bypass surgeries and advanced lower extremity revascularization procedures in Ontario, Canada’s most populous province.

    Participants will receive comprehensive training in wound management through the Interdisciplinary Limb Preservation Clinic, which is led by experts in Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery, Infectious Disease, and Wound Care. Graduates of the program will be eligible and encouraged to pursue credentialing as wound care specialists upon successfully passing the certification examination.     The McGill University Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is inviting applications for a full-time Contract Academic Staff position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Clinical) based at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC). This will be a Contract Academic Staff position and does not confer eligibility for tenure.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    • Hold a medical degree, and must hold or be eligible for, licensure in the province of Quebec;
    • Have completed Vascular Surgery training, preferably within the last 2-3 years and be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent);
    • Have completed a minimum of 1-year Clinical Fellowship in vascular surgery;
    • Be committed to, and demonstrate excellence in, clinical care, research, teaching, and innovation; formal evidence of excellence in these areas with prior peer-recognition, awards and/or distinctions will be considered an asset;
    • Bilingual language skills (French and English) are preferred, or a strong commitment to acquire the necessary language skills at the level needed to practice medicine in Quebec. Candidates should be able to interact in English and in French with patients, families, and health care professionals.

    McGill University is an English-language university where most teaching and research activities are conducted in the English language, thereby requiring English communication both verbally and in writing.
