We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Vascular Surgeon to join our dedicated, supportive surgical team.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Your Role as a Vascular Surgeon at WRH:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Provide a full scope of vascular surgical care, including both open and endovascular procedures&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Sharing on-call responsibilities for the region&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Contribute to the continued advancement and quality of the EVAR program and broader vascular services&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Collaborating effectively and respectfully with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient care.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care in all aspects of your practice.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Actively contributing to a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment within the division and the hospital.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What You Bring to Our Team:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;Certification in Vascular Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), or eligible for certification.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Eligibility for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO); candidates utilizing CPSO pathways for U.S. Board-Certified physicians are welcome and encouraged to apply.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Demonstrated expertise in vascular surgery, including endovascular techniques&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Experience in vascular access procedures, specifically arteriovenous (AV) fistulas for hemodialysis care, is highly preferred.&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Strong communication and interpersonal skills&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Dedication to quality improvement and continuous professional development&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

      <title>Vascular Surgeon (Locum), Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) Barrie, ON</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;img src="https://vascular.ca/resources/Pictures/Job%20Postings/Vascular%20-%20Locum%20Advertisement%20May%202021.jpg" alt="" title="" border="0" width="200" height="144" align="left" style="margin: 20px;"&gt;The Regional Vascular Program at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) in Barrie, ON is seeking an additional Vascular Surgeon.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The Level 2 Regional Vascular Program at RVH serves North Simcoe Muskoka LHIN with a catchment area of over 500,000 residents providing comprehensive care in three primary sites: Royal Victoria Regional Heath Centre, Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Georgian Bay General Hospital. The Vascular Program provides care to patients from all regions of the LHIN with all types of vascular pathology and plays an essential role in the support of other regional programs including stroke prevention and regional renal dialysis program.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The successful applicant will be expected to show evidence of interpersonal and collaborative skills and initiative to further advance the clinical and academic productivity of the regional vascular service.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Highlights of the program include:&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;High volume center with full spectrum of vascular practice and strong integration with regional programs including stroke prevention and renal dialysis&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Hybrid operating suite at RVH&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;RVH division of Vascular Surgery is assigned a minimum 18 elective operative days per month&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Outreach operating suite at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital and Georgian Bay General Hospital&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Two onsite Physician Assistants to support patient care&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Fee-for-service reimbursement model&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Well supported 1 in 5 on-call schedule&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

  &lt;li&gt;Opportunities to participate and shape regional outreach initiatives across a large and diverse catchment area&lt;br&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Applicants must be certified F.R.C.S.C. in Vascular Surgery and be eligible for an Ontario license through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). The anticipated start date will be immediate or a mutually agreed upon date.&lt;/p&gt;
