The Division of Vascular Surgery at Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Health are seeking to hire a full time Vascular Surgeon.  The successful candidate would be a member of the academic department based at the Halifax Infirmary. The position will be located at the Halifax Infirmary.  Responsibilities will extend to all areas that the division covers including the entirety of the province and interprovincial care. A mix of in-person and virtual care will be required to other health zones within Nova Scotia with these duties being shared with other divisional members.  Virtual assessments for interprovincial care may also be required.

The successful candidate will join five other vascular surgeons in the division with on call duties to be divided equally. Excellence in clinical care, a commitment to teaching and mentorship are required. Candidates must be committed to collaboration and professionalism.

The successful candidate must be fellowship/residency-trained and certified by the Royal College in Vascular Surgery. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia.  Renumeration is based on a competitive alternate funding plan.
